English translation Original German text
The world’s happenings are dependent on thoughts.
I) At first the human must seek the truth, find it, gain knowledge from it and expand on it.
II) As second step the human must correct his thoughts in a controlling manner and align them with the truth of his gained knowledge.
III) As third step the human must, through his knowledge and his thoughts, create his inner harmony.
IV) As fourth step the human must, based on his inner harmony, correct, straighten out, form and harmonise his own character.
V) As fifth step the human must correct, straighten out, form and harmonise his direct environment, his family life and relatives' life.
VI) As sixth step the human must correct, straighten out, form and harmonise his near environment of friends, mates and acquaintances.
VII) As seventh step the human is then capable to correct, to straighten out, to form, to harmonise and to lead a group of humans, the mass of humanity, the state and the world in a wise, humane and creational-just and law-like way.

  • Excerpt about the human being’s fear of looking within, from Billy’s book, “The Way to Live“, p.150
  • Translation by Vivienne Legg 22nd January 2013
English translation Original German text
400) In anxiety about the truth, the human being is so desirous of not looking into his/her inner self, rather only looking outwardly, that he/she has thereby lost contact with his/her inner nature to a large extent. His/her inner nature has become quite strange to him/her and he/she fears making this his/her own again. Indeed he/she only fears looking inwardly because he/she knows that his/her external nature, which he/she puts on show, never allows itself to conform with the true inner nature. Additionally, the human being knows that those who are influential company for him/her, cannot communicate to him/her any idea at all of what he/she could find in his/her inner self. Only he/she alone is able to create this idea himself/herself but, as a rule, that occurs due to wrong assumptions which are based in the idea that a real look into the inner self contains the risk of insanity. This wrong idea is a trick of the worldly “I” by which fear is created for the uncovering of the true nature of the real inner nature. And it is exactly also this fear which is mighty enough to keep the human being from really fathoming his/her inner nature; that very nature which is formed in accord with the innermost nature, according to creational-law-based benchmarks, and to which love, peace and harmony are innate.
So that the human being does not have to look at and fathom his/her inner self and innermost self, he/she resorts to the ruse of a hectic pace, with which he/she leads his/her life. With this, his/her life is not only filled up and time-bound, rather he/she thereby also shuts out the risk of having to be occupied with himself/herself and with his/her inner self. He/she takes the hectic pace of the life as an excuse to not have to view and consider or fathom himself/herself. Just the sheer idea alone of recognising himself/herself and, from that, having to realise himself/herself, causes him/her headaches as well as anxiety and fear. Also the idea of meditation causes affliction, confusion and terror for many human beings. But they do not notice that they truly suffer from an emptiness and an “I”-lessness, because they allow themselves to be steamrolled by their own external nature and life, which they view and consider as practical experience and the living of experience, while they do not recognise the real inner practical experiences and the living of experiences. They drift about in the life as if in a dark, cold vacuum, which is so far from the effective truth that they are no longer able to find it. They live in a world which has dedicated itself to diversion by means of the untruth, in which quiet and silence in the face of the truth have something terrifying and eerie about them. Yet many a human being does not recognise that or simply does not want to recognise it, for which reason he/she holds himself/herself away from the truth and refuses it by creating hectic-paced, crazy bustle and roaring noise. Thereby the human being believes he/she can avoid having to look into his/her own true inner nature; consequently, for many this is indeed the last thing they dare to do. But even when that is so, no human being remains spared from, sooner or later, directing his/her attention inwardly, because the creational urge to strive for evolution stops for nobody; consequently, every single human being must look at and recognise his/her inner self whether he/she wants to or not, in order to realise himself/herself accordingly.
