| But first the balloon had to be fabricated. Billy and Herbert worked a few hours on its production. Finally, I helped with the gluing and folding of the thin paper surfaces, because time was running out. On Saturday afternoon at 16.00 o'clock the balloon was finally finished. In the meantime a good dozen people had arrived who were waiting impatiently for the descent to the starting point. Soon a small car convoy moved through the streets of Hinwil out into the open terrain. At the finish the necessary preparations for the start were immediately started. The photographers took their posts and took the first pictures. The start took place around 17.00 o'clock and succeeded excellently. Under the cheers of the spectators the room-sized monster rose vertically filled with more than 85 m3 hot air. Due to the clear weather we could follow the ascent the longest time. But at the same time we waited eagerly for the main attraction. Personally I hoped that we would see Semjase's beam ship, but nothing like that happened. In the meantime, the balloon had been drifted in a different direction. Billy sat down on his moped and clattered along the flight track of the balloon. At a certain place we should meet him again. When this meeting did not work out due to a misunderstanding, our disappointment was understandably perfect. Finally we drove back to Billy's apartment where he had been waiting for us for quite some time. But he led us straight back and explained what Semjase had done during our absence. He showed us the place where Semjase had mysteriously eliminated a 3-5 meter high fir tree without our knowledge. Now it had disappeared without a trace in the truest sense of the word, because we could not find, despite a thorough examination of the ground, the roundest trace that would have indicated that a tree had stood here a short time ago or had been removed by whatever means. Only the one-sided growth of the remaining shrub led to the conclusion that something else must have been present immediately before. An outsider and we ourselves must involuntarily ask why Billy had not drawn our attention to the tree when it was still there. Billy said that for security reasons he should not have given us any information about it. Undoubtedly, the whole experience would have been more impressive for all spectators if it hadn't been so secretive, but the fact that the tree was eliminated doesn't change. Now the skeptics will object: "How do you want to prove that the tree even existed? It could also be that Mr. Meier had dug out the tree, pulled it out or otherwise removed it without leaving a trace."

| I think we can rule out the last objection from the outset. In any case, I can't imagine how he should have done it. Loose soil can be crushed, but a continuous layer of grass does not grow back together in such a short time. Furthermore, the risk of being caught would have been much too great. The one-sided growth of the shrub also speaks against it. As for the first objection that the tree never existed, I can say that Billy can prove its existence with a very good photo. I can still remember exactly where his photo tripod stood and in which direction Billy photographed. Now it says again: "Well, always just Mr. Meier, why didn't the other photographers take any pictures of it? Actually quite obvious, none of those present - with the exception of Billy - knew what was going to happen. Nevertheless, others photographed the tree or unconsciously got it on their photos, luckily I myself. So we can delete the last assumption as well. But there would be other possibilities open, e.g. a falsification with the help of the so-called thought photography. Ted Serios is supposed to have the unlikely ability to project images onto a slide or black-and-white film with his enormous imagination alone. I don't want to take the liberty of judging whether these statements are true or not, but if Ted Serios should actually accomplish this feat, then I think he must concentrate intensively on the camera and his conscious work when making these pictures. There should be no doubt about that. Assuming that Mr Meier possessed the ability to produce images in this way, this would have to be expressed through his facial expressions during his work. As can be seen from my photograph, this was not the case. In my picture, Billy is very clearly depicted in the foreground, next to his helpers, as he is busy sticking an aluminium foil on. His gaze is directed at his work and not at my camera. It looks as if he hadn't even noticed that he was photographed, so he couldn't possibly have conjured the tree onto my film with this snapshot. Furthermore, he would have had to project it in such a way that it fits exactly into the landscape, and furthermore, the trees in the photo would have to be so similar to each other, like an egg. An outsider might consider other possibilities that I haven't mentioned. But be that as it may - at the end of the day everyone has to form his own opinion as to how conclusive Mr. Meier's UFO pictures actually are. As already mentioned, pictures alone cannot provide proof if the authors, connections etc. are not known. Even the exact examination of all facts on the spot, including the witnesses, often does not bring absolute certainty. Nobody may imagine that the fruits of truth will fall into his lap without any effort. In this context I do not want to withhold from the readers what Semjase has said about this: "Evidence is only considered reality if it is founded in knowledge and insight, which means that only <conscious> hard work makes real evidence possible, but never only seeing alone. Moreover, it clearly expresses that through the mediation of Kontaktmann Meier we would have received enough material of various kinds for conscious processing. But they do not and must not exert any compulsion in order to convince the earth people of the truth. I am aware of the fact that many people do not like this extraterrestrial point of view because it does not correspond to their wishes or does not meet them enough. But whether we like it or not, we must come to terms with it. Finally, I would like to add: "Whoever seriously and sincerely strives for the concerns of truth with impartiality, patience and perseverance, and in addition may make use of the invaluable help of the extraterrestrials, will find the truth one day with absolute certainty, but with the restriction: one sooner and the other later.

A mysterious experience Ein mysteriöses Erlebnis
by Guido Moosbrugger, Austria von Guido Moosbrugger, Österreich
It was in the summer of 1976, when the following incident occurred: Mrs. Meier had told me on the telephone that the spaceship pilot Semjase had announced a demonstration for Saturday, July 17. Of course I didn't want to miss this opportunity and so I went to the Meier family in Hinwil in the Zurich Oberland on the weekend. Arriving there, I immediately inquired about the details of the announced project. Billy (Mr. Meier), however, behaved very cautiously and was not persuaded to reveal his secret, although he was well informed about the demonstration. All he said was: "We'll make a hot-air balloon and get it up tomorrow afternoon. Something special will happen near the launch site, so I advise you to keep a sharp eye on the surroundings." So we had no choice but to be surprised.
Meier had dug out the tree, pulled it out or otherwise removed it without leaving a trace." Finally, I would like to add: "Whoever seriously and sincerely strives for the concerns of truth with impartiality, patience and perseverance, and in addition may make use of the invaluable help of the extraterrestrials, will find the truth one day with absolute certainty, but with the restriction: one sooner and the other later.
